The Woodward Fund of UCP of South Carolina

The Woodward Fund of United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of South Carolina uses funds from the Woodward Trust to address the unmet needs of infants, children and adults with Cerebral palsy living in or within close proximity (10 mile radius) of Aiken County in South Carolina.

Individuals with lifelong, complex disabilities and their families face numerous expenses. Eligible support to individuals may include, but is not limited to, adaptive and mobility equipment (either purchase or repair), technology, therapies to include music and equestrian along with Speech, Occupational, Physical and ABA Behavioral therapies. Specialized summer camp tuition will also be considered.

All applications must be submitted separately (one application per email or mailed envelope). No batched requests will be considered. Each request must be for one individual with a diagnosis of cerebral palsy to be considered by the Woodward Fund Committee for meeting the established criteria.

The Woodward Fund has a rolling deadline and applications may be submitted any time. When an application is submitted it will be reviewed for completeness and then forwarded to the members of the Woodward Fund Committee to ensure compliance with the established guidelines for funding (usually 7-14 days). If approved, the application will be processed for payment, and funds will be awarded in approximately 10–15 business days. If there are questions about the application, the applicant will be contacted by a Committee member.
