SUMMARY:Fall No-Show Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Your ABSENCE is requested at our first ever Fall No-Show Fundraiser!  Instead of attending an event this fall\, we are asking you to show your support for the people we serve simply by staying home! \nThat’s right\, no need to worry about buying tickets or auction items\, having to hire a babysitter\, or fight traffic!  We want you to stay home and spend that time with your family and friends!  In return\, we ask you to consider making a donation in any amount you think you’d spend to attend an actual event. \nOur take is this: why not use the money you would spend on dinner\, raffle tickets\, and silent auction items on a donation toward our programs?  Here are some ways your gift can make a difference: \n\n$50 provides intellectually stimulating day service outings and activities for one person\n$100 buys a year’s worth of arts and crafts supplies for one person at our day program\n$250 covers transportation costs for one our adaptive vans\n$500 provides two weeks’ worth of snacks and groceries for four people in one of the UCP homes\n\nAll you have to do is make a donation here\, or send your donation in the mail (make checks payable to United Cerebral Palsy of South Carolina).  It’s that simple!  So kick back\, relax\, enjoy some college football\, and feel good knowing that your contribution makes a big difference in the lives of those we serve!
